What is pega?

Pega Systems Inc. is a Cambridge, Massachusetts based Software Company. It is known for developing softwarefor Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Business process Management (BPM). These two functions are put to use in various BPOs and Customer care centres to understand the user’s queries and responses and also to improve the products and services provided by the firm in question. PRPC or PEGA Rules is not a language/compiler but is an application development tool for BPM & CRM Applications. It is developed on Java and uses OOP and java concepts. It uses java as backend engine, hence having java experience is a plus.
In the fast paced world everything becomes automatic, here PEGA helps to build an application automatically without any coding skills. And the big advantage is that we don't have to build the system from the scratch like any conventional programming. It is becoming popular because of Flexibility, and being extensible.
Using Pega, We design the Business Process Flow and decide the functionality we need to the Flow. Pega does the rest and deploy them as web services, develop UI using the built-in framework and deploy them in the intranet or cloud, implement CRM solutions for sales, marketing, operations and customer service. This tool is used mostly in Finance/Banking/Health care industry where there is a need of streamlined process flow.
